What do we offer?
The Infotainment development at Volvo Cars consist of agile teams focusing on development to create a world leading in-car digital experience. We are working with cutting edge technology such as Android Auto with our partner Google. Volvo Cars has received widespread accolades from the international press during the unveiling and ongoing demonstrations of this system throughout the world right now. To support this exciting future we are looking for a hardware developer to strengthen our team.
You will work in a creative environment, within an Agile Release Train (ART) that is constantly implementing new functionality, where we develop both the product and the individuals. The teams that you will work with are responsible for the hardware development of our infotainment head units and its related components. 
We are organized according to SAFe and want to build empowered self-organizing teams that act proactively, take responsibility and strive to build a great product for the end customer.

What you will do
You will be part of our Agile hardware development team. Your team is managing the development at the suppliers to ensure our requirements and time plans are met.  
As a hardware developer you will work with securing the deliveries for Volvo Cars production and aftermarket. A key responsibility is to compile the technical requirements from various stakeholders and make sure that the supplier has accepted the scope of development. During the development you review the tests and validations results together with the supplier. 
You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Team manager and many other people with interface to the team. In your extended network you will cooperate with procurement and colleagues from other functions within Volvo cars. 

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer science, Automation, Mechanics or equivalent with relevant experience. Having worked with managing electronic hardware components for release to production or similar is meritorious, also from the non-electrical domain (like interior, chassis, powertrain etc). 
You are a person that like to meet people and support the roll-out of our new technology. You are engaged with a curious, open-minded and positive approach. You like structure and have things organized and well planned. Fluency in English is mandatory.
