Right now we are looking for a hardware engineer for one of our customer in the medtech industry.

Responsibilities

• Create concepts implementing technical requirements, evaluate accordingly.
• Perform detailed design and development in terms of DFX (X=manufacturing, assembly).
• Prototype and evaluate design in terms of functionality and reliability in subsystem and complete products together with project team of other engineering disciplines.
• Be updated on relevant standards.
• Compile Verification & Validation reports.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test results.

Knowledge

• Power electronics design and integration, specifically motion control platforms and positioning hardware.
• E-Cad - Schematics + PCB-layout, drawings & tolerance specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of use of electronics test equipment for test, data logging, and test report output.
• EMC/EMI pre-compliance design, and knowledge of best practices for EMC-based PCBA design.
• Operational knowledge of standard electrical test equipment.
• Statistical tools to for reliability assessments.
• Basic CAD - parametric modelling, drawings & tolerance specifications.
• English - communicate written and spoken professionally within the engineering discipline.
