Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Serve as the Hardware (HW) responsible in assigned projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Lead engineering activities for Electronics in the Concept to Buyoff (CTB) and GTB phases, as well as during mass-production.
Interface between HQ and customers on HW-related matters, actively participating in CTB and GTB activities for Computing Systems products.
Manage Q&A related to HW, negotiating with customers, and performing requirement analysis of customer needs.
Oversee HW release/delivery, reviewing and releasing HW documentation.
Review and update HW documents as per customer specifications.
Participate in Customer HW evaluation events and present results from tests such as DVT testing, EMC tests, etc.
Facilitate communication with local sub-suppliers in Gothenburg.
Contribute to team spirit, participating in internal Technology area workshops.
What you bring:
Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Over 5 years of OEM vehicle manufacturer or supplier experience in Computing Systems.
Well-respected knowledge within the HW engineering field, both within the company and with customers.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with automotive HW verification, including Climate cycling tests, EMC, etc.
Skills in all areas and phases of development, including post Job 1.
Ability to work independently as an expert in the HW field.
Active involvement in mass production projects throughout GTB and delivery phases within the Computing Systems technology area.
Over 2 years of experience in the maintenance phase of a mass production project.
Team player with a professional approach toward customers, even in challenging situations.
Fast learner with good communication skills.
Ability to handle stress well.
Must be fully conversant in English.
PC literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Driving License (Type B).
Willingness to travel overseas within Europe and Japan if the project situation requires it.
