Hardware Engineer for Electronics

Join Our Team as a Hardware Engineer!
Our client in Ludvika is searching for a dedicated Hardware Engineer with expertise in optics and valve electronics to bolster their PVD department. This role requires the ability to strengthen the team byhandling testing of electronic boards to Optical Current Transducers, maintaining/modifying the test circuits used for this, supporting workshop in their testing of the final transducers and analyzing test results.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and fault tracing of electronics for HVDC valves and similar applications.
Design and maintenance of optical and electronic components, including Fiber systems.
Handling product requirements, participating in fault investigations, and contributing to development projects.
Improving working processes and conducting product lab testing.
Supporting assembly teams and collaborating with various departments

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or optics.
Strong understanding of electronics, measuring equipment, and fault investigations on printed circuit boards, especially in power electronics.
Proficiency in handling instruments, computer-controlled operations, and Labview.
Practical experience in operating oscilloscopes, soldering printed circuit boards, and using laboratory equipment (not a requirementbut highlyadvantageous).
Technical interest and eagerness to work on practical and theoretical issues
Experience with instrument operation, including measurement and computer control.
Knowledge and skills in Labview.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish advantageous.
