We have several positions with different seniority levels, within our Rail Control Solutions team in Stockholm.
Join us as a Hardware Engineer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role.
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for Hardware development and maintenance of real-time embedded products and wayside object controller products; or even manage a team of highly skilled Hardware and Component Engineers within our Object Controller Systems (OCS) department. You will also take part in HW research and development activities, as well as HW maintenance of industrial, real-time embedded products.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for HW design, development, testing and modification of existent and new functionalities, for industrial real-time embedded products and wayside object controller products. You will focus on hardware design for Board and sub-modules.
· Involved in overall product hardware architecture.
· Ensures highest level of quality of design and maintenance of HW systems.
· Writes technical documentation to support the HW design and determine hardware engineering requirements.
· Identifies and offers best solutions to complex hardware related issues.
· Work package leader – managing the relationship with sub-suppliers and suppliers (PCB/ PCBA manufacturing and assembly).
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electronics/Telecom/Electrical Engineering)
· Strong experience with hardware systems and excellent knowledge of board design including:
- Power design: SMPS, isolated converters, transformers
- Analog design: Analog filters, Signal Chain, ADC, DAC
- High Speed digital circuits: DDR2, DDR3, PCI-E
- Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): design, tests, and troubleshooting
· Experience with at least one high end CAD/CAM system (Cadence, Altium, PADS)
· Experience with simulation tools (Pspice/LTspice)
· Fluency in English (any other language is considered a plus)
