Would you describe yourself as a result-focused engineer with solid HW experience and a great interest in people? If so, this might be your chance to take on a significant position in our development projects with great responsibility and international challenges.
You will be part of Grid Automation Products, a business unit within ABB’s Power Grids division that is responsible for the development, marketing and sale and manufacturing of products for protection and control for generation, trunk networks and regional network applications. The unit's product offer consists of IEDs in the Relion® 670/650 series as well as other related products. The unit also offers services such as training to ensure customers get the maximum return on their investment in ABB protection and control solutions.

Your responsibilities
You will be a part of our HW team that facilitates the hardware development for Grid Automation Products.
Working with advanced products have specific characteristics required to work in a harsh environment and high quality & safety.
Development of HW modules.
Active role in integration, EMC, electrical safety tests.
Supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) tasks.
Taking part in further developing our ways of working.

Your background
You hold a degree within electronics engineering or equivalent, Bachelor or Master’s Degree.
At least 3 years’ experience in HW Design.
Work experience more than 2 years from similar industries and/or within projects is preferable.
Experience with the CAD and simulation tools for HW design is valuable.
Experience in embedded system firmware will be to your advantage.
You are a natural problem solver, who enjoys meeting new challenges.
Experience in agile development methods, and lean product development are highly valued.
It will be a part of your job to communicate with other departments, team members, projects leaders and suppliers. It is therefore important that you are open-minded and straightforward in your communication.
