HARDWARE LAB ENGINEER
The Electronics & Mechanics Team is responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products, including electronics, PCB CAD and mechanical CAD.The team is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products.

We now need to expand the team with an electronics engineer, to help out in our lab with maintenance and modifications on products and prototypes.

You will:

Do investigations, troubleshooting and assist in customer support cases
Be working with hardware verification and early prototyping
Be involved in implementation and test of the hardware in projects
Have contacts with component distributors, as well as subcontractors and manufacturers
Work in close contact with Operations, assisting in production start-up, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization

For this position we believe that you should have/be:

A degree in electrical engineering
Experience of schematic capture program, preferably PADS Logic
A keen interest in electronics and experience of soldering
An interest in electronic troubleshooting and experience of measuring equipment
An overall technical interest
Fuent in written and spoken English and Swedish
