We are looking for a Hardware Technician to join our engineering team. You will work closely with the Product Team In-car Hardware and Operations Team. Those two teams collaborate to ensure the hardware and software integration of current and future Volvo cars into Volvo On Demand. Our teams work directly with Volvo Cars R&D on tailoring the cars to car sharing, which has so far resulted in several unique industry-first features for the Volvo On Demand product. Together, we focus on creating the world’s best mobility solution.

Your role will include mixed responsibilities between system engineering and hardware. You will work closely with your colleagues in the team to solve our complex embedded systems and hardware related challenges.
You will bring value working cross functionally with people with complementary skills, and actively contribute to the delivery of the technical roadmap of Volvo On Demand. You will have a direct impact on complex technical projects related to the support and maintenance of our systems and tools by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware, and will contribute to the rapid, high-quality development of Volvo On Demand.
You show experience with most of the following...
You have experience as a Hardware Technician in a team working on the development of embedded systems.
You feel comfortable working on technical projects following the agile ways of working.
You have some basic knowledge related to any of the following fields or similar: Electrical, Software, Mechatronics engineering.
You have a natural interest in new areas and new technology.
You love sharing your knowledge with others.
Extra awesome if you have...
Experience from working in the automotive or truck/bus industry.
An interest for the car industry.
A driver's license valid to drive in Sweden is a plus.
