Hardware/Electro-designer

THE POSITION:

In this position you will work creating products communicating with our clients advanced technical equipment. Together with your colleagues, and in close collaboration with their application centers, you will be involved in every step of the way – from initial idea to final product. Our client work in an agile environment, close to customers where new initiatives and possibilities constantly emerge. The team focus on many different technologies such as automation technique, indoor location and robot solutions.

In this role you will work closely with the software developers to implement the hardware and see that it works, since the hardware is connected to embedded-systems. You need to be experienced in electrical construction and with design, production and testing of hardware and circuit boards.

The tools our client use:

OrCAD and somewhat CADint for older construction.Matlab/Simulink/Simcape do to calculations.They use a tool from Altair or Icepak to do specific simulations (Many also use LTspice). They have all the "standard" equipment in house, small as big and they got EMC-measure as well.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

To succeed in this role, you have at least 5 years experience as a Hardware/Electro-designer. You are familiar with the tool mentioned (or similar) and are comfortable in working with others and collaborate.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at the client company after a duration of 6-12 months.
