Hays seeks Stations Accountant for client Role Purpose: To ensure that station shift sheets are processed accurately and on a timely basis and reconciled to cash processed. Key Accountabilities * Reconcile Shift sheets to cash processed by the security company.* Identify, report and follow up missing shift sheets, missing cash and other credit and debit items.* Undertake checks over the station accounts, ensuring timely clearance of items without debit and outstanding, as well as monitoring surpluses and losses.* Highlight particular problem stations for investigation by the Financial Controller/ Station Director * Complete and balance Summary of Daily transactions, and any relevant summary books and files.* To continually review and improve transaction processes ensuring that we operate with a mindset of continuous improvements.* To assist in other areas the financial controller.* To cover up other Accountants during absences and be knowledgeable about the processes on their areas. Qualifications High School Exam in Finance or similar.Computer literate with hands on spreadsheet skills as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in using Visma is desirable but not required.
