Head Controllers Sector R&D

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Would you like to take on the responsibility for finance and business control within a R&D sector? At this moment we have two open positions as Head Controller for a R&D Sector.

The positions covers a wide area of responsibilities; You will work with recurring processes such as business reviews, forecasts, monthly closings, KPI’s, and investments. You will also manage and coordinate strategy plan and various business development initiatives. You report to manager Business Control R&D Joakim Persson (UC) and will be part of a team of eight people. The position is part of the sector management team. 

You will work in, and via, several important networks/management teams:


• R&D Sector, working together with department managers within the sector
• Department Controllers within the sector, coordinating and supporting all controlling activities 
• R&D controlling, working together with other Head Controllers within R&D (UC)
• Multiple contacts within Traton R&D, Product planning and Controlling

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a Master degree in Finance or Business Administration with several years of relevant work experience within the controlling field.

We believe you are an analytical and structured person, the ability to work independently in driving the progress and reaching expected results within your areas of responsibility. You are a team player and together with sound leadership skills can make fast and clear decisions, motivate others and lead by example. You are creative and think outside the box in order to find solutions. Since the role entails recurring presentations we believe you are a good communicator with the ability to convey a message. Proficiency in English and expertise in MS Office applications Excel and PowerPoint is essential for this role.

The role is in Job Architecture classified in level Executive Professional.
