Scanias strategic accounts will play an important role in the transformation of our company. Our portfolio includes the global transport companies, key transport players in different industries but also transport buyers who approach Scania to find sustainable solutions. Our accounts are often at the forefront of the development and challenge us to develop new solutions and business models.
Our assignment is to work in close collaboration with the strategic accounts to deliver concrete CO2 savings and scaling of new technologies. We need these key stakeholders in the transport eco system to achieve our Science Based Targets and we believe that they will grow in importance in the coming years. Our feedback from the strategic accounts is that Scania can play an important role in the shift to sustainable transports but we will need to be creative, innovative and deliver business development to accompany the deployment of new technologies.
In addition we continue to develop business with the international fleet customers to achieve growth in volume and EBIT with a global ambition and approach. Head of Account Management is a new position that will assume responsibility of our front office activities.
The assignment
As Head of Account Management you are leading a team of highly skilled and experienced Global Account Managers. Your role is to secure the execution of the customer plans and deliver agreed volumes and consolidated performance KPIs. You are also responsible for the customer categorization framework and the management of resources to enable delivery towards customers in each category. You will be leading the process improvment activities and the coordination of activities towards the back office. You will also be part of the formation of the new Strategic Account Management team and contribute towards the strategic development of the department.
Your profile
You have an experience of working with end customers in sales or services and you are comfortable in the international business environment. You have experience of complex negotiations and excellent influencing skills. You are a skilled leader with experience of setting targets and continous follow up aswell as coaching. You have a high degree of responsibility and a meticulous approach to financial planning and business case creation.
Excellent communication skills are required in the interaction with customers and business units. You have a university degree in business or engineering. Experience advanced customer management and sustainability is meriting.
Working with strategic accounts in this time of transformation is a challenging but a very exciting and rewarding assignment. Our work will deliver concrete contributions to the decarbonization of the transport industry and our projects can inspire others to follow.
