Head of accounting - Climeon

Climeon is a clean-tech vendor, providing a technology that uses the energy in waste heat from industries and low-temperature geothermal heat to generate electricity. The company received its first order in 2015 and has since then established a customer base consisting of Viking Line, Virgin Voyages/Fincantieri, Varmaorka (CP Energy) and SSAB, among others. The product is protected by patents and offers a market-leading performance within its areas of application.

The Role
As Head of accounting at Climeon you will have varying tasks and a lot of responsibility. You will be responsible for Climeons general accounting including A/R, A/P as well as period closings, financial and tax reporting. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls in compliance with internal financial policies and IFRS.
The role requires strong communication skills as you will handle internal and external communication both verbal and in writing. You will be Climeons main point of contact towards our salary consultant and accounting firm and will also play an important role in communicating internally.

Qualifications and suitable background
We believe that you have a university degree in Business and/or Accounting and at least four years of accounting experience and practical experience from working in a listed company. You should also have experience and interest in independently initialize and run different finance improvement projects.
Other requirements you need to fulfill to succeed in the role are:
Minimum 4 years of experience from a similar role
Audit experience and IFRS knowledge
Good Excel knowledge
Fluent Swedish and English
It´s meritorious if you have knowledge in Dynamics NAV or similar ERP system
