Dagsljus was founded in 1991 and is today one of Northern Europe’s leading rental house for feature films, commercials and TV production. We supply the whole range of services and equipment for your production; film cameras, HD cameras, video cameras, lights, sound, cranes, dollies, vehicles, and custom built rigs. We are part of a pan Nordic film and TV equipment rental chain NSR Scandinavia group and have 23 employees. Dagsljus is represented in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Estonia with head office in Stockholm and sister companies in Gothenburg and Haparanda.
 
We are looking for highly skilled, experience and proactive Head of Accounting to be responsible for finance and accounting of Sweden and to be a member of a pan Nordic finance team. The position reports to the group CFO and is stationed in Stockholm. Read more about Dagsljus at www.dagsljus.se 
 
Responsibility and tasks
The Head of Accounting has overall responsibility over the financial operations in Sweden.
 
The responsibilities include
- Lead and develop the economy function
- Run the day to day financial operations
- Be an active member of the Nordic team
- Further development of finance and accounting related processes and routines
- Contribute to the Dagsljus team
- Oversee the financial operations
- Managing internal contacts as well as with government agencies and auditors
- Establish annual report
- Responsible for taxes and declarations
- Provide decision making support to the CEO and the team
- End-to-end responsibility over the finance and accounting
- Financial reporting
 
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who has had end-to-end responsibility of the finance and accounting operations. An ideal candidate has a background from small or medium size company. It is key to us that you have a proactive approach and that you are detail oriented. You are structured and have the ability to work independently. You are service minded and actively engaged. Further on you are solution oriented and a team-player. You enjoy challenges and you are used to working towards deadlines. An interest in film industry is a plus.
 
An ideal candidate has:
- Masters degree in economics
- +10 years of experience from finance and accounting
- Experience of being responsible for all the financial activities in a company
- Industry experience is an advantage
- Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written).

An ideal candidate wants to be part of the entire Dagsljus crew, and an active member in the pan Nordic financial team. You should be proactive and want to develop your responsibility area further. We are looking for a highly driven, active person.
