Head of Accounting & Finance to Skanditrä in Kalmar

About the position:

Skanditrä is looking for an experienced and hands-on director of Accounting & Finance.
You will be highly regarded in your discipline and responsible for all of the accounting and finance department functions. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting fundamentals in combination with an eagerness to continuously learn and expand your knowledge base.

Your responsibility:

- Preparation of financial statements in accordance to local GAAP as well as to Austrian Accounting Principles (Group Guidelines)
- Active communication of accounting and financial issues with the branch manager and the Austrian HQ
- Preparation of monthly report for the Austrian HQ
- Regular daily bookkeeping (recognition and booking of incoming payments, bank payments, open-items administration, monthly tax declaration)
- Independent processing of all customer transactions
- Dunning, contact person for customers regarding open receivables and payments
- Collaboration with the creditinsurance-Company
- Administration of open items, ongoing maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
- Payroll accounting
- Monthly VAT report support of the company’s permanent establishment in Hungary
- Responsibility for the budgeting process
- Contact person for external partners – auditors, taxconsultants, taxauditörs
- Evaluations and analyses for management
- Statistical declarations
- Projectsupport

Your qualifications:

- University Degree in Business/Finance
- Minimum 5 years of broad experience in Accounting & Finance
- Good knowledge of the Swedish accounting standards and tax laws (especially VAT and corporate tax)
- International and leadership experience are an advantage
- Solid MS office skills
- Dynamic, proactive and solution-oriented personality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Structured and organized working style
