The Head of Apps & Services New OSes will be responsible for Sony Mobile's web apps development and be a member of the global A&SD leadership team. As Head of A&SD New OSes you demonstrate a high degree of personal commitment, motivation and professionalism. We believe that the right person for this mission has a winning attitude and is a strong team and technical leader. One of the most important tasks is to continuously keep building a highly talented and winning web apps development team. You will report to the Vice President, Apps and Services Development.



Top five responsibilities:

- Drive development of Sony Mobile's web apps suite.

- Build a highly competent web apps development team through training of internal engineers and recruitment of new engineers.

- Build the backend infrastructure needed to deploy and host web apps.

- Be part of and actively contribute to the global A&SD management team.

- Work closely with Apps and Services Product Management and other parts of Sony to create winning propositions.



Experience and competencies:

- Web and cloud development.

- Understand the principles behind agile and lean way of working.

- Profile to challenge the organization, self motivated, independent and pro-active.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

- Managerial experience.
