Head of Asset Maintenance

We are the only ones with the capacity to receive and handle the largest ocean-going vessels. APM Terminals Nordics handle more than 50% of imports and exports in Denmark and Sweden.

We are now looking for a leader that will drive the Asset Maintenance function. This is a key role within the organization that aims to take the Asset Maintenance organization from reactive to preventive Maintenance. The organization consists of four departments today; Straddle Carrier and Crane workshops, Planning, Warehouse and Facility in both Aarhus and Gothenburg.

As Head of Asset Maintenance for our Nordic organization, you will drive the Asset maintenance team and report to the COO. You will in this role have great opportunities to contribute to APM Terminal's future development.

Key Responsibilities:
Together with your team you secure delivery today and are responsible for the strategic development of the department and run standardization and improvement projects. We are looking for you who have extensive experience of driving change, that easily see new solutions by creating efficient working methods - both within the team at Asset Maintenance and the Nordic Management Team.

We are looking for:
You have an academic degree in engineering, industrial economics or equivalent, and you have an extensive experience in managing maintenance in a changeable and situational-driven environment. Furthermore, you are analytical, have good problem-solving skills and knowledge about advanced maintenance setups.

You have successful management experience as a coach, and you are a clear leader who delegate and give your employees great responsibility. You are an excellent communicator and you can present and push through ideas and decisions in a convincing and humble way.

You enjoy being in a dynamic and global environment that share best practices with other APM terminals.
Being a Nordic role in a global setup, it is an advantage if you have experience in building networks remotely. The role will also require that you travel between the entities.

As we belong to a global group, we assume that you have good language skills in both Swedish and English, both in speech and in writing.
