What will you do?
We have a lot of heart and spirit at Stena Line – but we need some help creating a cohesiveness. As Head of Brand & Communication it is your mission to define the framework and platform for all communications, core messages and to create a yearly strategic plan for communication as well as brand activities. You will lead a global team of six enthusiastic colleagues with different responsibilities and specialties. By an active leadership you will create an understanding of and engagement in Stena Line’s strategic direction to enable all employees to contribute to the business and build pride internally. It is your responsibility to work with internal stakeholders to protect, safeguard and strengthen the Stena Line brand externally as well as internally. In this role you will actively collaborate with our People department in communicating the company culture, value and brand pillars to the business, ensuring one message is delivered across all regions.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Responsible for Communication strategy and policy, ensuring an effective Emergency response process
• Set the Company Brand Position together with the Brand Manager and control the Brand identity
• Lead the Communication and Brand team
• Primary focus on strengthening external PR & Media Relations
• Support regions and units in Public Affairs related projects
• Ensure effective internal communications in terms of transparent messaging and effective channels
• Together with your team support management and functions in group related communication and brand projects and initiatives
• Overall responsible for Company website, group SoMe channels, external press rooms, the Intranet to name a few

The must-haves:
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience
• Strong working experience in Corporate Communication, PR, Branding or Marketing, preferably from a Business to Consumer or FMCG organisation
• Strategic leadership experience within a communication function
• Experience in creating a strong communication strategy
• Experience in leading a team with colleagues in different locations
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
