Head of Group Business Control and M&A
Group Business Control and M&A is a Group function that consists of highly dedicated controllers. We are specialized in different financial and non-financial areas and across all the NCC business models. We drive and participate in business development, business performance analysis and reporting.

These are your new challenges

You will report to Head of Group Reporting and Control and be responsible for a team of nine as well as external consultants, when applicable.

Overall goal of the function is to enable understanding of business environment and delivery on short-term financial objectives and long-term strategic targets, give active input on how to increase business performance and be a financial challenger and business sparring partner. The function is responsible for developing the Plan to Perform process, the M&A process, the Fixed Assets Acquisition to Disposal process as well as group and support function controlling. Sustainability Reporting and Control is also part of the scope and two of your staff are specialized in sustainability.

You will work closely together with the Head of Group Reporting and Control and your team will be responsible for recurring tasks such as:


• Monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of the NCC Group, central functions and operating units/departments for Senior Management Team.
• Member of Group Control and Reporting which drives central development projects.
• Business performance reporting in Board reports, Board presentations and quarterly reports together with Group Reporting and Tax.
• Participate in the work of organizing the Business Review meeting’s agenda. Annual calendar, Group budget and forecast instruction and support functions cost allocations.
• Drive the Swedish social package work group together with Head of Internal Control and participate in the Swedish Social Package Committee as responsible for NCC AB and Support functions.
• Drive and participate in Group projects within the controlling area which can be strategic or operational, and consist of business development, governance, training or presentations to NCC employees at different levels of the organization.
• Perform support functions controlling reporting and analysis.
• Business owner of the QlikView based system Cobra, the Power BI based Project Trend Reports and the sustainability reporting system Tolero.

The position will be at NCC Headquarters in Solna, Sweden. The position will require some travelling within the Nordic countries.

This is expected of you
You have an academic degree in finance and hands on experience from leading a team. You also have at least five years’ experience from business controlling and experience from group reporting and/or project accounting.

As a person, you have strong analytical skills and high integrity and can structure your team’s work proactively to comply with reporting deadlines. You are used to lead projects in large organizations, drive change and implement improvements both in processes and IT systems. You have experience of handling data from different IT systems as well as proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

You need to be fluent in English and Swedish, other Nordic languages is considered a bonus. You and your team will be expected to deliver written reports in English and Swedish.
