We are looking for a Head of Business Control

Are you passionate about overseeing processes, financial activities, and conducting various financial analyses? Join us and take on the role of Head of Business Control, where you also will drive transformative changes and measure performance alongside our small Business Control team.

As a pivotal member of our global Finance team, consisting of ten co-workers globally, you will have the freedom to shape work methods and establish optimal practices that will enhance the efficiency of WirelessCar and our Finance team.

The role will also include a line manager responsibility for our two Business Controllers based in Gothenburg. Collaborating closely with our Chief Accountant and the Accounting team, including our CFO, you will play a key role in steering the financial direction of our organization.

Together with our CFO, our Chief Accountant and Head of Partnership & Purchasing, you will also be part of our Finance management team.

Key responsibilities

- Partner with management across the organization to drive financial business performance, risk management, and value creation

- Define financial steering principles supporting our business models

- Develop, implement, manage and own our planning processes, financial ratios, performance indicators, cost calculations, working capital management, and investments

- Analyze and follow up on financial and operational performance, challenging, proposing and driving corrective actions

- Provide management with ad-hoc financial and operational analyses for strategic decision-making

- Deliver financial performance reports with recommendations and early warnings

- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Business Development to ensure each business is profitable

- Manage and develop the Controlling team in Sweden, fostering continuous improvement and coaching

We believe that you bring

We believe that you have several years’ experience within the controlling field. Also understanding and experience from software or tech companies is desirable.

As person you are a curious, innovative and an analytical problem solver that also enjoy teamwork and have an inclusive approach to your work. You are open-minded, flexible and thrive under challenging and changing conditions. To be on top of things, you have a desire to understand our business and wants to learn the driving mechanism behind our success. We believe that you have good communication skills and can make your voice heard on all levels in the organization.

You also carry a great knowledge within Microsoft Office and find yourself self-propelled in the daily business and show high integrity. We believe that you have experience and have worked in SAP, since we are working with SAP S/4HANA public cloud. You speak and writes in Swedish and English since some weekly tasks will come across the Swedish language.

Way of working

At WirelessCar we believe in a Hybrid Remote work setup. The preferred work location is in the Gothenburg region.
