Sandvik Coromant Business Control takes an active part in achieving Sandvik Coromant’s objectives. To strengthen our team, we’re now looking for an experienced and influential leader to join us as Head of Business Control – someone who’s ready for a challenging and exciting mission, and eager to support our Vice President and Head of Finance & Pricing in building the foundation for strong financial and business control.

Your mission
In this position, you’re overall responsible for supporting our strategic agenda and ensuring correct business decisions based on transparent information and proactive control. You challenge our ways of working and use your expertise in developing our financial agenda and driving business mindset. Managing costs, investments, estimates and future spending’s are part of your everyday work. You’re responsible for forecasts, period-end reports and analysis, and you manage capital expenditures and continually monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues. With your true interest in business and a financial perspective on strategic and operational issues, you provide recommendations and drive decision-making, supporting key business decisions with fact-based analysis and simulation. In addition, you’re an active member of the Sandvik Coromant Finance Management team.
The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm, and some planned travel is included.
Your background and profile
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s or higher in Economics, combined with solid experience from senior financial positions, performance management and organizational development in a global and complex setting. You know how to successfully be an active and trustworthy business partner and are skilled in turning strategic directions into everyday operational activities. Your structured and proven leadership skills enable you to effectively establish and cultivate cross-functional teams, and by showing the way in a motivating manner, you combine team spirit with excellent results. We’re a global player, and you must communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Swedish is beneficial.
You’re curious, entrepreneurial and pragmatic, and you utilize these drivers along with your analytical skills and strategic abilities in your everyday work. You confidently keep our set direction as you prioritize and execute activities, and you plan a head to be well prepared for future challenges. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire change and bring people onboard are your keys to success, and you lead the way - for both your team and our organization - by acting as role model regarding performance, delivery and values.
