Main tasks:
As Head of Business Development and Pre-Sales your main responsibility is to lead and develop Business Development, pre-sales and technical sales support functions within a business unit: Embedded Software and Hardware Solution. Our ambition is very high and you are expected to grow business the coming years, both as stand-alone unit, but also to support growth of whole service area.
Your key tasks will include:
• Leading the BD and Sales supportpeople cross-business unit and support co-operation cross-service area
• Driving technology choices, new technology business plans and related offering of a business unit
• Understand the industry trends, and works with the management team in driving towards wanted position
• Consolidates Business Intelligence information from various sources for developing our business and bringing ideas and input to sales and future offerings
• Proposes and supports development of future offerings: Products, Services, Solutions in all dimension, within business unit, together with service area and also Etteplan wide offering packages
• Has an active sales support role in sales, customer dialogue and business planning with the accounts. Participates in selected bid reviews
• Has an active customer dialogue role and interface for finding potential technology, new offering and other longer horizon leads and business opportunities
• Being a key participant of a business unit management team and business decisions and success
• Contribution to the business unit competence area capability developmentfor the future needs (what capabilities and new competencies and where)
• Strong revenue growth contribution according to the business unit targets. Demonstrating strongly the growth attitude to the whole organization
• Strategy contribution for the business unit as well as for the service area growth bets
• Co-operation with other BD Heads within service area to ensure wide thinking and combined customer dialogue, offerings and co-operation
• Establishes and develops the partnership with Technology vendors and Service Ecosystem partners
