About the job
You’re a key advisor to our senior management and other stakeholders within the business, and an important player in decision-making connected to business growth and setting a strong direction for future success – both organically and through M&As. An exciting role with high organizational exposure and a broad internal and external network, and not to forget close collaboration with our sister business area segment of Sandvik Machining Solutions. By analyzing and evaluating market trends, customer and competitor information, industry movements and our own product portfolio, you gather and structure valuable insights and bring analytical firepower into our development agenda. You contribute in our M&A streams, and feed our business cases and development plans with important intelligence and recommendations. You prepare plans, forecasts and material for internal meetings, as well as for discussions, negotiations and acquisitions of potential partners and clients.


You’re the go-to-person when discussing where our assets are positioned in the market, how shifting trends may impact our business, and what actions we need to consider to ensure future growth. In all of this, you also make sure that we have the correct set up and support systems for data management and analysis, and you always look for improvements in our ways of working and how we make best use of our intelligence.


Our headquarters are at brand new offices in the old “gas works” in central Stockholm, and this is also where you’ll be located in this position.


About you
We’re looking for someone with a commercial business outlook and broad experience from working in roles connected to the business intelligence field, most likely within private equity, banking, consulting or strategy. Any previous knowledge of the software industry is naturally beneficial, and you’re used to international companies with a huge growth agenda. You’re skilled in performing analysis and using BI tools and methods, and you know how to successfully interact with and present information to senior stakeholders. We value a relevant degree within Business, Finance, Economics or similar, and as we’re such a global player, you also need excellent written and verbal skills in English.


Your analytical mind, systematic approach and core business understanding are keys for this job – and you enjoy a bit of time in the spotlight. Not only do you manage heaps of information, but you’re also very confident and clear as you communicate and present your findings and challenge us to look at different perspectives. You stay calm and structured at all times, and work proactively and prioritize your activities to reach results. By strong collaboration and broad networks, you contribute to our growth agenda, and you keep one ear to ground as you consider insights, make smart recommendations and evaluate our next steps.
