Scanias strategic accounts will play an important role in the transformation of our company. Our portfolio includes the global transport companies, key transport players in different industries but also transport buyers who approach Scania to find sustainable solutions. Our accounts are often at the forefront of the development and challenge us to develop new solutions and business models.
Our assignment is to work in close collaboration with the strategic accounts to deliver concrete CO2 savings and scaling of new technologies. We need these key stakeholders in the transport eco system to achieve our Science Based Targets and we believe that they will grow in importance in the coming years. Our feedback from the strategic accounts is that Scania can play an important role in the shift to sustainable transports but we will need to be creative, innovative and deliver business development to accompany the deployment of new technologies.
In addition we continue to develop business with the international fleet customers to achieve growth in volume and EBIT with a global ambition and approach.
With the increased demand for sustainable solutions and added complexity of new technologies that often require advanced analytics we are now expanding our team. We are therefore addinga new position to lead and further develop our important back office function.
The assignment
As Head of Business Support you will be responsbile of securing key capabilities required to support the work with our strategic accounts. These include fleet administration, coordination, business case development and specification of vehicles. In addition we are adding the task of sustainability analytics as a new capability where the format will need to be established in close collaboration with the e-mobility team. As the manager of the team you will ensure contingency of identified capabilities, secure resource allocation and drive development projects to enable continous improvment. You will also be part of the formation of the new Strategic Account Management team and contribute towards the strategic development of the department.
Your profile
You are an experienced project manager with planning capabilities and focus on efficiency of processes. You have a good knowledge of Scanias products and service and you have experience of calculating business cases with high complexity and impact. You are skilled in analytics and in the development of new methodology and analytical models. You take pride in the delivery of quality contribution to customer assignments in accordance with required timelines. You are a skilled leader with experience of setting targets and continuous follow up as well as coaching.
Excellent communication skills are required in the interaction with customers and business units. You have a university degree in business or engineering. Presales experience and digitalization skills are meriting.
Working with strategic accounts in this time of transformation is a challenging but a very exciting and rewarding assignment.
