Parts and Services Sales is looking for a Head of Business Support.
Welcome to this great opportunity of leading and developing a support organisation within one of the most profitable and important business areas for Scania! The Parts and Services business plays a crucial role in the shift towards sustainable transport and will be a foundation for Scania to succeed with the transformation.
With the newly established function Business Support we aim to create an excellent and structured approach to a variety of questions supporting and developing the business and daily operations.
Your task
The scope of this new role is to secure a structured and professional line function supporting Area Management with specialist functions increasing our efficiency and professionalism. The area of responsibility includes everything from being the interface towards other Business Areas, such as Tender team and Key account structures, but also towards Product Management within S&M. Apart from that Export Control, IT & Digitalization resources are important parts of the responsibility, and supporting the digitalization forward will be crucial.
Additionally, you will play a key role in the management team where you will have responsibility for our way of working including planning and follow up. The task also includes challenging and driving continuous development – aiming to improve our daily business toward the vision and targets.
Your profile
The person we are looking for is a structured and creative person with a curiosity for new solutions and a dare to try attitude. A good understanding of what Area Management is and what we need to do to be successful in the future is a crucial feature. We expect a positive can-do attitude as well as grit – you strive to succeed with what you have initiated, both when the ride is smooth as well as a bit more bumpy. You find it motivating to work with continuous improvement and to lead your team in various improvement projects. You are, or have the aim to be, a good coach for your employees. Keywords are solution oriented, structured and performance driven.
We expect you to have a university degree within relevant field. We also expect you to be fluent in English.
The position has the line responsibility of a team of different business support roles, and you report to Head of Global Sales Parts & Services.
