Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM) manages properties and facility services for Vattenfall. We are covering both technical and conventional services across all offices and plants and thereby we are powering a fossil free future together with all Vattenfall employees. In the Nordic region we are now looking for a Head of Business Support to join the Nordic organization.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As Head of Business Support you will manage and coordinate a wide range of topics for many for RE&FM in the Nordic region. You are a member of the RE&FM Nordic management team and have a central role in the structure of reporting and follow up of the entire function.
Projects and initiatives are often coordinated cross border and you often serve as the representative for the Nordic region in such occasions.
This is a managerial position with a small team that requires you to both engage in operational work and lead. The responsibility and tasks cover coordination of business planning, financial reporting, communication, project and change management and management system. You will be the point of contact and coordinator of common topics in RE&FM Nordic such as our service catalogue, charge out principles and customer satisfaction topics. You will also be involved in topics together with other regions than Nordic, with international contact and content.
Other responsibilities in the role are:
- Continuously development of the RE&FM Nordic strategy for RE&FM Nordic
- Being the driver of transformations and development projects
- Support follow up on RE&FM scorecard to improve deliveries in the business
- Coordination and reporting on our project portfolio
- Actively participate in governance both for internal services and in complex vendor contracts
- Planning of RE&FM management team agenda and meetings
Your profile as Head of Business Support
We believe that you have an academic degree in a relevant field such as finance, engineering or equivalent experience. We also think you have managerial experience as well as a history on project management.
You have strong analytical capabilities, are structured and prone to strive for alignment between strategy and action. You thrive when you find areas for continuous development and actively seek ways to improve our services and our ways of working.
You are able to operate in uncertainty and with sometimes unclear preconditions, but still confident to make decisions and act accordingly. You are curious to learn and understand the business and our internal customers to build solid relationships.
Whether it´s ensuring a progress in our plans or handling change you´ll be the bridge between many different functions. One day you might be leading a workshop in the management team, the next you need to roll up your sleeves to handle a specific topic yourself.
You may have worked with Real Estates, Facility services or shared service concepts before, that together with experience from energy and/or Nuclear operations that is a merit in this recruitment. Your previous roles mean you have the ability to navigate and understand the role of business support in large complex organizations.
Solid English and Swedish language skills are required for this position.
Location: The position is preferably based in one of the larger locations meaning Stockholm, Forsmark or Ringhals.
