Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

HEAD OF CASH MANAGEMENT, GROUP TREASURY

Scania Group Treasury is operationally responsible for managing the liquidity, refinancing needs and financial risks of the Scania Group. The department consists of around 30 co-workers and operations are carried out from Södertälje and Malaysia.

Providing Scania with professional cash management services and efficient liquidity structures is of vital importance to the Scania group, and the Cash Management team is currently running several projects to secure compliance with the latest practices and legislation.

We are now looking for a person with solid treasury skills to lead the Cash Management group.

Job description

As Head of Cash Management you will lead a group which today consists of five co-workers. Your responsibilities include:


• Coordination and prioritisation of projects and activities in cooperation with the rest of the Treasury Financial Control team.
• Management of the Scania group's cash pools and optimization of account structure.
• Identification and implementation of process improvements.
• Developing the Cash Management group.
• Representing Group Treasury towards banks and other stakeholders, internal and external.
• Act as a business partner, supporting and advising the subsidiaries (Asia, EMEA and Latin America) in cash management and bank related matters and making sure that they comply with policies and standards.
• Staying up to date with legal requirements and current best practices.
• Maintenance and development of Scania’s supply chain financing setup.

Your profile

You have an academic background and previous experience in leading projects. You are a person with analytic skills, organizational abilities, and creativity in tackling problems. You have experience from our Treasury Management System Quantum, you are a an advanced user of Microsoft Office 365, including Power BI, and you have previous experience from working with robotic process automation (RPA). In addition it is an advantage if you have previous experience from international financial markets, preferably Latin America. A very good level of written and spoken English and Portuguese is a requirement, and knowledge of other relevant languages is of course beneficial.
