Alfa Laval Energy Division BU Energy Separation is looking for a Head of Channel & Online Sales. We’re looking for a passionate and transformational leader to build up our Channel and On-line business and the team that make it happen. ​

Purpose & Mission

BU Energy Separation undergoes a substantial business transformation. To grow we must open new ways to market for our standardized range of separators, decanters and Vortex mixing equipment. Our future business interface will be digital, also for conventional channels, and we have ambitious plans to establish web shop solutions.

As Head of Channel & On-line Sales you’re responsible for driving our distribution and system builder business and establishing the on-line sales business and organization.

Responsibilities
* Lead and grow the recently started Channel sales in the BU
* Develop existing distributor, system builder and KAM business for the standard range of separation products together with our Sales companies
* Lead the e-business journey and establish necessary processes and functions, including cross organizational touchpoints
* Establish an on-line sales organization including recruiting new competences needed for the transformation
* Lead the work to develop sales efficient content and product data and selection tools
* Set up the online communication and lead generation concepts and content for the products
* Be a member of the Business Unit management team and participate in shaping the future growth for the BU.

You report to President BU Energy Separation. The role will require some international travel. Placement can be in Lund or Tumba in Sweden or Söborg in Denmark.

Who are you?

We look for a transformational leader and change agent to drive our channel and on-line business. We believe you have proven skills in channel business and experience and passion for building a digital business. It´s important to have a general knowledge and interest in relevant industries and it´s easy for you to understand the business in a broader sense. Sustainability is an important driver for our sales, and we expect you to have an active interest in the area.

You have skills in how strategic marketing and communication drive sales and can use that to drive the business transformation. As you will have many interactions within and outside the BU, you should be comfortable collaborating and leading cross-functional teams.

What you know

We believe you have 8-10 years of professional working experience in channel management and digital sales. You have good proven experience in leading and coaching teams (minimum 3 years). Your background can be from either a technical or business management university degree.
