Charging and Infrastructure Solutions (C&IS)
C&IS is a function within Volvo Energy. We develop Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) / Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) C&IS offering in conjunction with Business Areas and partners (for infrastructure OEM-agnostic). We work by lobbying and advocacy, legislation monitoring, partnerships and associations to create and accelerate industry standardization and roll-out. We provide Advisory Services for C&IS to create peace of mind for the customer in the electromobility transformation.
We identify and extract public funding and subsidies across applicable markets and regions. We create new business offer opportunities as well as value propositions together with our Volvo Group colleagues and partners. We jointly simplify the electrification transformation for our customers and the society as well as accelerate the journey towards 100% fossil free and in doing so, we will support Volvo Group’s sustainability.
We are the natural go-to expert function within the Volvo Group for BEV/FCEV C&IS.

So what are we looking for in this specific role?
We provide Advisory Services for charging and infrastructure to support Volvo Group’s electromobility transition. We are now looking for a Head of Charging and Infrastructure solutions Advisory Service (C&IS AS). Your starting point will be to build and lean an agile team of great individuals to manage the C&IS AS function.
The C&IS AS will for C&IS area provide central expert advisory support, support all BAs with major customers/specific cases. Participate in business development and create ​the C&IS part of the total offer, develop tools/trainings/checklists/methods.


Responsibilities are among others:
Provide Expert advises regarding C&IS to BA’s, market companies and dealers.
Help the customers to become more comfortable and confident in their decision to electrify their fleet through a well developed 360 view covering the customers need in the electrification transition.
Provide charging solution advice to internal stakeholders as well as BA’s, market companies and dealers in terms of charging needs, depot configuration, capacity, placement, layout, time schedule, installation, approvals, subsidies etc.
Build up knowledge over-time with re-usable calculation models, facts, information that could be used for future advice to potential electrical truck customers.

Qualifications likely required to be successful
Significant experience from Retail business or similar.
Significant experience from commercial vehicles.
Managing projects with customer, market and dealerships stakeholders.
Experience from charging systems and infrastructure is considered a merit.
Building high-performing teams.
Excellent in establishing internal as well as external long-term partnerships.
Excellent knowledge in building frameworks (process, methods, strategies, plans) and leveraging intrapreneurial skills in large, cross-functional organizations.
University degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, Digital & IT, business administration or equivalent.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
