The Global Sustainability Team (GST) is organised together with Volvo Cars Strategy Team in the business area of Corporate Functions. GST is responsible for shaping the global sustainability strategy and guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with the decided strategy. We are also responsible for strengthening the internal governance and shape messaging towards relevant stakeholders.
What you will do
As Head of Circular Economy you will be responsible for
* Shaping the global strategy and secure delivery of its business and sustainability benefits
* Improve work processes for its effective implementation
* Follow-up on defined KPIs and coach the organisation to deliver on their commitments
* Assist in defining effective digital solutions
Do you fit the profile
You have a relevant university degree at master’s level and about 10 years of experience from positions in different industrial sectors of which some at senior level.
You have broad understanding of business realities in our industry.
You have a proven record of capturing the benefits from circular economy in industrial companies.
You have experience from change management.
You are structured, result oriented with strong leadership and analytical skills as well as a curious mindset.
You are a good communicator with full command of English (in writing and speaking).
