Who we are.
The Sustainability Team is organised within the unit Advanced Technology & Sustainability. We are responsible for shaping the global sustainability strategy and guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with the decided strategy. We are also responsible for strengthening the internal governance and shape messaging towards relevant stakeholders. The team will now be split into three sub-teams: Climate Action, Circular Economy and Governance & Responsible Business and we are now recruiting for leaders for these teams.
What you will do.
As Head of Climate Action you will
* Shape the short-, medium- and long-term strategy for climate action for the company to become climate neutral by 2040. Define KPIs, targets and related action plans.
* Define and secure implementation of internal processes for effective action to reduce CO2 emissions according to the strategy. Together with Digital Core, define related digital solutions,
* Lead the progress follow-up in cooperation with the business units. Assist in finding corrective actions.
* Report progress in climate action internally and externally, including for the Annual Report and various ESG ratings.
* Identify suitable strategic partnerships, evaluate and lead decided partnerships to accelerate the transformation to climate neutrality.
* Continuously monitor societal and scientific developments and taken relevant actions accordingly.
* Be responsible for climate related corporate positions and upon request serve as the company´s spokesperson for climate.
Do you fit the profile?
* You have a relevant university degree at master’s level and at least 10 years of experience from positions in the automotive industry of which some at senior level.
* You have a deep understanding of the development of cars and its complexities.
* You have a proven record of change management, and experience from implementing large scale change initiatives in big companies with complex organizational structures.
* You are structured, data driven and result oriented, with strong analytical and leadership skills.
* You hold strong social skills and see collaboration and stakeholder management as a prerequisite for successful delivery.
* You are a good communicator with full command of English (in writing and speaking).
The Head of Climate Action will report to the Head of Sustainability.
