Do you have managerial experience and strong business acumen and want to take the next step as Head of Commercial Controlling? Stora Enso Packaging Solutions is now looking for Head of Commercial Controlling for Business Unit Central and Northern Europe to support our growth journey ahead. You will be mainly working with commercial controlling and acting also as business partner for the Nordic region, being responsible for region’s all controlling tasks with your direct team.

We are now looking for a Head of Commercial Controlling to join our Corrugated team. As Head of Commercial Controlling, your job is to be proactive, forward looking and value adding business partner focusing to improve the commercial competitiveness in our packaging business in Business Unit Central and Northern Europe. You will work actively with our management in enhancing the performance culture especially within our sales.
Initially you will focus on Nordic business controlling duties and leading profit enhancement, scenario-/optimization-modelling and business steering, for example target setting, KPIs, action plans, operations metrics, and business reviews in the specific area.
You are an experienced and valued manager developing tools, processes and controls for the specified responsibility area, aligned with business needs. You will be working together with experts from different functions, and developing, leading and managing your controlling team to fulfill the regulatory requirements and internal reporting needs of the division, covering the financials for actuals, forecasts and business plans in the region Nordics. Together with your team, you will proactively seek improvement potential and contribute in business decisions.
Your location can be any of Stora Enso’s Packaging Solutions locations in Sweden, Finland, Baltic countries or Poland. You will be working in Packaging Solutions Division and report to SVP Corrugated Nordic. The position requires travelling.
Who are we looking for?
Strong business acumen – desire to provide clever analysis, tools and develop processes for efficient decision making
Minimum five years of experience in the finance/controlling area, preferably in an international context with management consulting / commercial controlling background
Strong analytical skills and ability to understand cause-and-effect relationships. Preferably experience in working with and developing different optimization analysis
Highly self-motivated, ready to go the extra mile and do your best in every situation
Proactivity and result orientation with self-driven personality with “hands-on attitude”
Good team player who improves engagement across teams being an inspirational leader and having experience in change management
Ability to excel and work effectively in a matrix organization and preferably with managerial experience
Knowledge in management and financial accounting
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, other languages relevant for Central and Northern Europe are an advantage
Master’s degree in the relevant field
