We are looking for a Head of Commercial Music Partnerships to join us atour HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
Job Summary:
This role is part of the Music Distribution division and reports to the Director of Music Distribution. Responsibility includes managing a team of KAM:s, Partnership Managers, Track Performance Specialists and YTMC Coordinator, and maximizing revenue opportunities for the Epidemic Sound catalog on 3rd party platforms by developing the team and being hands-on.
Responsibilities:
Manage the operative work of the Music Commercial Partnerships team, including preparing and leading weekly team meetings, 1-1s and acting as a sounding board to team members in their day-to-day work
Support the team with reporting efficiency and tracking of budgets and results
Responsible for DSP and third-party platform revenue, with a focus on metrics including revenue, views, and streams, and developstrategies for performance growth for both artists and individual tracks
Responsible for supporting the team with the development of Key Account- and Partner relationships, includingmanaging and/or being the point of contact for any assigned DSPs or Partners and creating newlicensing opportunities for the Epidemic Sound catalog
Contribute to our wider team and domain strategies by providing insights and suggesting additional layers and structures
Managing stakeholder relationships and cross-collaborative work with teams such as Product, Analytics, Music legal, Business Development and Marketing
Requirements:
8+ years experience working in the music industry and leading digital music platforms
Proven track record of successfully managing teams in a fast paced environment
Excellent relationship management skills; with the ability to manage and develop partner relationships efficiently to grow revenues
In-depth knowledge of both frontline- and mood music categories
Experience and proven track record of working data driven with analytical tooling to successfully execute on assigned business areas and projects
Extensive experiencewith cross-functional stakeholder management
