Scania Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all Scania units worldwide. We provide value to our customers by procuring products and services with the right Technology, Quality, Delivery and Cost, focusing on Sustainability.

Are you attracted to the prospect of leading one of the most high-dynamic commodities at Scania Purchasing, taking on the challenges of legal and commercially complex negotiations in a changing business environment including new technologies?

As the Head of Commodity Investments, you will be able to utilize the full commercial potential of a strong team to impact the Scania CAPEX foot print, both from an environmental and business model beneficial point of view.

Your responsibilities

The main objective for you and your team is to procure Scania machine investments with the right business model and cost. Both from a commercial and legal perspective, the department is handling and developing the supplier base in order to meet quality, technology, sustainability and delivery targets. By that, you directly connect to the business needs and effects in product development projects, the global production footprint and new technologies.

In a long-term perspective, you and your team plan the strategic sourcing activities for Commodity Investments purchasing. Collaboration areas stretch from various stakeholders at Scania globally to the Volkswagen and Traton Group.
