About Commodity Operations and your role
Our department Energy Markets is looking for a new manager for the Commodity Operations team. The main role of the team is to ensure that our physical and financial trading operations within E.ON  run smoothly and add value to our customers. Energy Markets is EON Nordic's wholesale energy trading, optimization, and portfolio management team.

In your role as Head of Commodity Operations you will lead a team of five experienced analysts which you will be a valuable part of. You will develop your team and create a motivating environment as well as conducting operational tasks The responsibilities of Commodity Operations involve trade validation, confirmation and settlement of physical and financial products. The team also handle external and internal payments and execute business reporting.

As a leader you will act as our interface to support functions (Risk, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Legal) and be responsible for topics within compliance and trade regulation. Finally, you will also be an important part of the Energy Markets management team.

Who are we hoping wants to become our new manager?
In order to be successful in the role as Head of Commodity Operations we believe you to have a degree within finance or within a technical field. You have a background from a relevant industry, in which you have developed a good general understanding of the commodity markets. It would be useful if you already have experience from the standard trade agreements, financial regulations and the accounting policies that are relevant for the energy sector. Finally, it would be beneficial if you have some experience from working and navigating through a complex IT landscape.

As a person you are self-reflective, result oriented and change driven. You are passionate about developing your team and you always place the customer first. You are a good communicator and business oriented. You strive to be trustworthy and forward looking and aspire to be a role model to the team. You are passionate about automation, processes improvement and business development.
