Our Head of Communication People Services & Center of Expertise Sweden will go on parental leave, and we are looking for that special someone who will take the lead on communication for two key functions within Group People & Culture during her absence. In this exciting role you will report to the Head of Communication, Group People & Culture and become part of an engaged team of communicators contributing to the realization of the Volvo Group People & Culture strategy.
You will help make the People & Culture agenda come to life, by creating efficient and engaging communication that supports People Services global agenda and initiatives as well as the four areas of Center of Expertise Sweden – Labor Relations, Health & Safety, Talent & Leadership and Compensation & Benefits. By creating communication that supports strategic business decisions, highlighting success stories and sharing best practices you will be part of creating a people-centric culture across the Group.
Key responsibilities
Planning and execution of communication strategy and tactics that support business needs in a dynamic business landscape
Lead the planning, execution and follow-up of communication for People Services and Center of Expertise Sweden, towards all key stakeholders, internally and externally
Coach and support leaders in developing the People Services communication system to enable communicative leadership
Content creation and creative writing across internal and external channels, e.g. editorial content, newsletters, films etc.
Drive communication planning, implementation and follow-up for strategic projects and initiatives within Group People & Culture

To be successful in this role you have extensive knowledge of communication and strong business acumen. You have a hands-on approach and are capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational creating. Educational Qualifications and experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or similar degree in related field
3+ years’ experience as a Communications Business Partner, supporting and coaching leaders in developing a communication system and enabling communicative leadership
Proven track record from working in a similar role, preferably including experience from working in a management team in a global organization
Excellent writing and storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling messages that provide employees with a clear line of sight to the business strategy
Ability to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channels
Knowledge and experience of change management and change communication
Fluent in English & Swedish
