What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Business Unit Combat Systems and C4I Solutions (C2S) is looking for a new Head of Competencewithin Combat Systems Division, managing 5 departments hosting the main body of the personnel of Combat Systems Division at two sites, Järfälla and Karlskrona.



Your role
• Managing sub-ordinated Line-Managers• Responsible for cost center budget and result• Member of Combat Systems Management Team• Functional responsibility for Naval Operations “Team Competences Setup” (Cross-Functional Teams)• Functional responsibility for long-term and strategic competence planning coinciding withthe needs, guidelines and inputs from the Product Development Process• Functional responsibility for short-term/operational planning of competences to ongoingand planned Projects, including execution of daily allocation of competences to NavalOperations Projects.

We believe that you possess the following skills and attributes:• Business oriented and committed to contribute and deliver results on time• Documented skills from membership of Management Team• Proven Leader, performing a “Lean” workflow• Encouraging personality, with a proven trust and capacity to implement innovative cultureswithin the competence domain• Excellent skills within the Competence Domain in managing subordinated staff and executeresponsibility in competence processes• Clear and concise comprehension of competence performance management: Excellent skillsin executing responsibility on long-term strategic competence planning; Excellent skills inexecuting responsibility of competence allocation
Excellent skills in executing responsibility of short-term/operational planning ofcompetences.You have proven leadership experience as Line Manager and Project Manager.To leverage the initiated change towards an agile, flexible product organisation, you need to be ableto identify the impact and demands of change in the organization and have the ability to motivateothers towards the new way of working. For this role it is crucial to have strong drive in thefollowing areas; Performance Management, Competence Development, Organization and ProjectManagement.
