Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Are you the manager we are looking for, to our team Complete Vehicle and Corporate Standards?
In this position we offer you
- Working with a broad network both internally and externally with authorities and distributors
- A challenge - To lead the team to support our R&D organisation and markets to fulfil the legal requirements all around the world. This is a true challenge of collaboration and communication, especially when entering new markets or new product segments.
In the Vehicle Regulations and Standards section, we create the conditions for Scania's development department and its surrounding functions to be compliant and meet national and international legal requirements.
The Complete Vehicle and Corporate Standards handles topics that arise from the conformity of the whole vehicle such as material compliance, export control, whole vehicle type approval and corporate standards.
The Product Compliance Management System(PCMS) is handled by the group and states our way of working to deliver a compliant product, the management system handles all legal areas that affect our product.
The group creates the Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) which is a prerequisite to registering our vehicles in Europe in an efficient way.
The work takes place in collaboration with accountable design groups within R&D, with the purchase and production units at Scania, and together with the certification engineers from other groups within Vehicle Regulations and Standards.
Who are we looking for
To be successful, you need the ability to combine an understanding of legal requirements, authority contacts and our customer offer. You enjoy working both with details and the overall level as well as developing processes and finding new ways of working.
You have an engineering degree and communicate fluently in english, written as well as spoken.
It is a merit if you have experience in the Scania product development process.
As a leader, you are structured, you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial to driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for people and can adapt your leadership skills to different situations
As a person, you are a positive and social team player, eager to learn and like to work with various tasks. You are good at building relationships and creating team spirit and have the ability to share experiences and information with your colleagues in a generous way.
