At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.
We are now looking for a customer-centric, analytical, and conversion-driven CRM professional to take our customer experience to the next level and help us drive global and exponential growth.
How you will make an impact
In this role you can expect to:
- Be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing Epidemic Sound’s CRM & Marketing Automation strategy to drive reactivation, retention, and loyalty.
- Translate business goals into customer conversion opportunities across the different stages of a user's lifecycle.
- Ensure the right channel objectives and KPIs are identified and own the monitoring and reporting of the CRM channel to ensure business objectives are met.
- Synthesize data, insights, value propositions, and core messaging into tailored consumer-facing communication that retains customers and motivates action.
- Build effective and well-aligned processes and relationships with stakeholders across teams, departments, and domains to develop, optimize, and accelerate the success of Epidemic Sound’s CRM & Marketing Automation strategy.
- Be the advocate of our customers by developing a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, challenges, and aspirations as content creators.
- Lead a team of creative and technical CRM professionals.
- Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field.
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
- Responsibilities for managers include acting as an ambassador and in line with Epidemic values and leadership behaviors, leading individuals and teams, hiring, performance and salary conversations.
Who you are
To thrive in this role, we believe that you:
- Have 7+ years experience of working within CRM and Marketing Automation, preferably from a tech company with a subscription-based model.
- Are passionate about developing a best-in-class customer experience - you always put yourself in the customer's shoes to understand their different needs and pain points.
- Have the ability to see the big picture of how to engage customers all from awareness to acquisition, retention, and reactivation, and always with excellent commercial and creative judgment.
- Have an excellent understanding of messaging and positioning, with a demonstrated track record of adapting messaging frameworks to relevant markets and target audiences.
- Have a proven track record of building conversion driven and highly targeted customer journeys and one-off campaigns.
- Have a demonstrated ability for both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have hands-on experience in marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketing Cloud.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
