MAJORITY Head of Data
MAJORITY is looking for leadership around all aspects of data for the company. From our data stack and event flows to how we need to leverage our data best for business value be it through machine learning or real time analytics or by education throughout the company. Your role will be to lead the Data team, to set MAJORITY’s strategy for all things data and then implement it with your team and all stakeholders. You will be working closely together with stakeholders within product, commercial, finance and fraud - having a huge impact on the roadmap for the company. You will also be the person taking the lead in driving the direction of the technical architecture of how we handle our vast amounts of data.
Current stack: AWS (Kinesis, S3, Lamda), Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, Looker
The team’s responsibility
Design, build and maintain our data pipeline architecture empowering our business intelligence
Build a scalable event streaming infrastructure to enable real-time analytics use cases
Model our data in our Snowflake DW
Help drive towards DataOps by building a robust testing coverage and CI/CD pipelines to ensure data quality & high availability
Govern data architecture to produce robust dataflows
Interact with business stakeholders to understand their needs & collaborate to build the solution the business needs
Experience we seek
Experience leading a team preferably as a manager.
Experience from multiple aspects of the impact of data on a business. Datawarehouse, Product analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, real time data flows aso.
Additional appreciated experience
Experience in stakeholder management
Experience from a fast paced company with digital products, marketing and online acquisition
Experience in modelling and building data pipelines
Experience with Data Ops
Experience in ELT techniques and data warehouse modelling
Experience in data visualisation
Experience of Machine Learning
