Are you the leader who gets a kick out of balancing short term demands of delivery while keeping an eye on longer term strategic goals?
Now we're looking for a leader to join us as Head of Data & Analytics at Stena Line. For us to success, we need you who can empower our teams with a high-quality data and analytics platform. You will lead and grow a talented team of BI, analytics and data science professionals. To start you need to build and organize a developing team of 2-3 people, the vision is that the team will grow to 5-6 people.
You are responsible for scaling the use of agile and tools for accelerated delivery. You establish and nurture close cooperation with an eco-system of partners, including Stena IT, enabling fast and efficient scaling of capacity and competence needed to deliver according to our overall strategy.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Overseeing all activities of the data analytics and data warehousing in the company
- You will help define and execute our data strategy, work with other product & engineering teams to achieve the goals set out in the data space
- Lead strategic projects when required, to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance at all times
- Oversee all data sciences activities ensuring alignment with business vision and strategy
- Partner with Stena Group IT to clarify demand, build requirements for data and application development infrastructure necessary to facilitate efficient analytics development
- Help Elevate and re-align the strategic direction in the data space
- Help define critical commercial and operational data elements, and focus/inform the build-up of data capability centred around those elements

Qualifications:
- You're a leader who's crafted a career through data, insight, analytics or data science
- You'll have a detailed understanding of data governance and management processes and visualization tools
- You are comfortable working in an Agile environment
- You'll have experience of establishing and growing a team, then managing its success in a fast-moving environment
- Good analytical skills and a structured and process-oriented way of working
- Background and experience in data science or engineering
