Our Exciting Opportunity
The Head of Data Enablement Office is responsible to seek out and transform opportunities to create value from data, and leads the Data Enablement Office. You will drive the Ericsson data culture to change mindsets, ways of thinking, and ingrained practices. And enable improved data quality, promote data literacy and ethics as well as democratize data in a secure and compliant manner to empower Ericsson to become a data driven organization.


As part of this role, you will secure data exposition and re-use by the business lines, promote self-service data analysis and collaborate with IT to provide ready access to data, while balancing the free flow of data with the safeguards that are necessary to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.


You will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group Data Strategy, Data Operating Model, Data governance and Data Architecture Strategy via the Data Enablement Office and its interfaces to other essential parts of the organization.
The Head of the Data Enablement Office provides the Digital Board and Data Council (composed of members of Ericsson Executive team) with orientations, progress updates and mitigation plans for exposed / vulnerable risks on data.


Group Data Strategy & Data Operating Model
• Lead the development of Ericsson’s Group Data Strategy in alignment with the business units, market areas & group functions.
• Lead the data strategy execution support by tracking and reporting overall status of Data Operating Model adoption (governance, roles, processes, tools) and quality improvements to the Data Council (and Digital Board)
• Define and maintain Ericsson Data model, formalizing the key data products to be built and governed across the company
• Escalation point for data related operational and performance issues before escalating to the Data Council (and Digital Board)
• Accountable for Data Operating Model framework (data governance, metadata, data quality, data architecture, data usage and data risk & security) including processes and enabling the operational units with enhanced capabilities for managing data


Change management
• Act as a champion and change agent in organizational changes required to create and sustain data capabilities
• Act as a thought leader in emerging data practices, governance, and technologies, articulating the future of data management helping Ericsson to thrive in using data as an asset


Governance
• Define capabilities and roles needed in the DEO by taking the existing capabilities in Ericsson into account
• Lead the DEO and ensure to collaborate with other parts of Ericsson essential for the success of improving data management
• Drive the overall Ericsson Data roadmap, aligning Digital initiative’s needs, Data strategy, Data operating model deployment and underlying technical data capabilities implementation
• Provide the Digital Board and Data Council with updates on behalf of DEO

To be successful in the role you must have
• 5-10+ years of experience in management/executive role
• Strong experience in data management, including Data strategy and Data governance in large compagnies
• Advanced degree in business, technology, or engineering
• Strong interpersonal communication and persuasion skills
• Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation projects
• Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions
• Prior knowledge of Ericsson industry and related data is a plus
• Innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward
• Experience managing and leading a digital team
• Proven persuasion and collaboration skills
• Experience in performance management metrics
