Head of Data, Telia Finance

Telia Finance is establishing a new data and analytics organisation, and we are now opening up for a new role – Head of Data. In this role you will have strategic responsibility for our data and analytics organisation and be a part of our management team, reporting to the CEO of Telia Finance.
You will set and drive the strategic roadmap to build and strengthen the data and analytics function at Telia Finance, work collaboratively with internal and external senior stakeholders, and increase data literacy in our organization.
Telia Finance is an independent company acting as a finance engine for Telia Company. We are a smaller organisation with about 120 employees and this position is based in Telia's HQ in Solna, Stockholm!
The role
As Head of Data, you will be ultimately responsible to define the strategy and vision for data in our organization. You will help build up our team, create and own the data management roadmap, manage senior stakeholders and be responsible for budgets and resources for your department. This role is a key player in our strategic transformation within the data and analytics field at Telia Finance and you will be responsible for customer insights and environmental monitoring in the data and analytics field.
The goal for this role is to enhance Telia Finance’s quality, reliability and access to data; creating value from our data assets and the external data ecosystem. To do this, you will ensure that we have a close collaboration with Telia Company in the data management field, get data-driven capabilities onto our strategic business agenda and help us raise Telia Finance data literacy. You will monitor and follow trends in the data and analytics area and secure that your team and Telia Finance continuously adapt and enable the best suited capabilities.
Including financial planning and personnel responsibilities, this is the perfect leadership role for an experienced, business driven, and analytical leader.

Requirements
You have relevant experience in the world of data management with an understanding for the fundamentals of a strong Data Management organisation preferably from the financial industry
A background in a managerial role in the Data & Analytics field
Experience from working in a management team
Experience of collaboration with Senior Stakeholders in complex projects and leading a team of people
Be a great communicator in Swedish and English and have the ability to explain complex tasks in a simple manner
You are passionate about driving agile transformations and building agile culture
