This is us, your new colleagues
We, Parts Logistics Management, provide and develop parts supply solutions to support machine uptime for Volvo Construction Equipment´s customers around the world.


You will be a colleague in Parts Logistics Management Team, a team who are responsible for parts order management, parts technical support, parts planning over the life cycle, dealer inventory management, logistics development and parts logistics system development. The atmosphere in our management team is great with good collaboration, high engagement, open minded approach and where all ideas count. In terms of Parts Supply we have a “Center of Expertise” responsibility across all 7 regions.


We contribute to the transformation journey towards digitalization and sustainability by inspiring the team to analytics exploration, new business models and ways of working.


We work in partnership with dealers, GTO Service Market Logistics, Digital & IT, UPP, Service Market Analytics among other stakeholders.


Role description
As the Head of Dealer Logistics Development, you will lead this team with responsibility to develop the parts supply chain and drive improvement of order and dealer inventory management processes to provide best in class dealer parts availability. You enhance customer satisfaction by providing high service level on system related issues to the dealer network in Sales Region Europe and International.


You have a “Center of Expertise” responsibility across all 7 regions in terms of dealer inventory management processes and systems as well as driving logistics development initiatives and projects. You will coordinate Volvo CE dealer inventory management network across the 7 regions.


In this role you coordinate development activities in a collaborative way, with high level of business acumen, holistic view, and continuous improvement approach. You provide clear and inspiring direction to the team consistent with Volvo leadership values and facilitate cross functional teamwork across functions.

Education required
Bachelor or higher education level required, preferably in logistics and/or equivalent work experience. Proven leadership experience is preferred.
