Lynk&Co Design is part of Geely Design Global, a multi-cultural organization with seven well-equipped studios in Shanghai, Gothenburg, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, Coventry, Hethel and Los Angeles, with total staff of approximately 900. These design studios, with top class design teams and the latest tools in design development, are responsible for the creation of a unique design language for each of Geely's brands; Geely, Lynk & Co, ZEEKR, Proton, Lotus and London Taxi.
We are a fast-growing team of both creative and management professionals with the task of delivering exciting global products suitable for volume production and innovative concepts. In an inspiring studio environment, we build and maintain a top-class design team of multiple nationalities. With best in class processes and tools we challenge preconceptions and deliver premium car design. In the heart of Sweden's automotive cluster Gothenburg, we have concentrated all our efforts in the creation of the new brand in the Geely family, LYNK & CO, and all of its coming products. LYNK & CO has made its mark by sophisticated design and an appreciation of the connected world we live in. Today we are more than 400 people who work with coming LYNK & CO products.
Our Design Quality team consists of Design Quality Engineers, Digital Modelers and Senior Engineers, together responsible for all activities on Lynk & Co projects.
As the Head of Design Quality department, you will be:
- Leading our DQ team, safeguard that the Design Digital Models for Vehicle Exterior and Interior from CAS to final Class A stage.
- Lead with a holistic view and secure the focus on quality and customer satisfaction in the DQ workspace.
- Lead, Coordinate as well as implement improvement in both Quality and related processes.
- Lead, coach, mentor and create an inspiring environment for the team where the team can grow, feel trust and develop in their work environment, as well as personal development.
- Lead the team towards Quality Excellence.
- Participate, contribute and influence development of our future products and processes interacting with highly committed colleagues from different parts of the organization, and from around the world.
Main task:
- Provide leadership to the department and manage a high performing team towards quality excellence.
- Inspiring and contributing to an environment where people are attracted to work.
- Set OPI and KPI for the department as well as for the individuals.
- Reviewing agreed KPI, OPI with the team.
- Establish relationships towards the cross functional departments at LYNK & Co Design.
- Reviewing the progress and status of the digital model securing technical specification are meet.
- Present DQ status and improvement plans in front of Lynk & Co Design and Geely top management.
- Lead and coach the DQ team, including creating long-term development plans for the team members.
- Creatively define new ways and solutions for workflow, work process and prerequisites for the DQ team to get the best conditions for a high productivity and output.
- Support the Digital model team to follow Technical input and to achieve the Quality requirements defined in the DQ department standards.
- Organizing and supporting the DQ Design team reviews for Digital and milling models.
Your Profile:

- Proven leadership ability to build strong, self-driven teams.
- To thrive in this position, you are an experienced manager with more than 10 years’ experience within the automotive engineering or Design environment.
- Good understanding of Tooling requirements for sheet metal, plastic parts and Class A Surface modeling.
- Strong interest in Automotive technology and innovations.
- Fluent in English spoken and written.
- Highly experience in automotive project development phases and related processes.
