Job description


We are looking for a Head of Digital Campaign and Social Media who can drive our community engagement and outreach forward. You can strategically lead our social media campaigns, planning and execution, be hands on in SEM/SEO (paid and organic), Email Marketing, connecting the dots across campaigns, and shaping future campaigns based on insight and knowledge.


You will be part of our Global Marketing & Communications department, a team of communication professionals, each with global responsibilities. The job requires that you live and breathe social, burn for digitalization, with algorithms and analytics as your best friends.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the global social media strategy, and collaborate with key stakeholders
Coordinate, publish and monitor corporate content and be an advocate for the company in digital media spaces, engaging in dialogues and facilitating answers to questions promptly
Act as a consultant to internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted adviser by sharing latest industry trend and, media recommendations, continuously educating internal stakeholders
Translate Search Engine Marketing Strategy into actions
Ensuring campaign briefs to agencies are clear and well written to ensure high quality production as well as quality proofing deliveries from agencies to ensure they meet requirements
Ability to write and create engaging social media posts, building awareness, reach and community engagement in line with Volvo Buses communication goals and objectives
Use analytics to steer future campaign development
Working with external agencies and develop the relationship to drive campaign success



Competence and experience
University degree in Media and Communications or professional marketing education
Extensive experience in social media including strategy, planning, analysis and continuous improvement
Be proactive with a can-do attitude, able to identify opportunities and pursue them
Specialist knowledge of social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube), paid and organic, understanding of content options, community engagement and algorithms
Good interpersonal skills, an accomplished team player, and good agency management experience
Knowledge of analytical reporting (ideally Adobe Analytics, Social Analytics, Klipfolio etc)
SEO and SEM knowledge
Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
