What you’ll do

Excellent, then this is an opportunity for you to be our new Head of Digital Core Business Planning that will guide the teams on this exciting journey we have ahead of us.

As Head of Digital Core Business Planning, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring execution of our strategic plans and priorities for digital products across the Digital Core organization and Volvo Car Group. We also like this to happen while everyone has a fun and joyful time at work since we believe this is a key ingredient in a creative environment!
In essence, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about enabling business development digitally and bringing strategy to reality through cross-functional collaboration. You will design, establish and govern the business planning, portfolio management and roadmap processes across the Digital Core organization. Participating in developing the Volvo Cars Strategic Digital Agenda is another important mission.
Moreover, you will ensure necessary alignment between Product Teams and senior Management across the organization. You will provide required reporting to senior Management. You will lead the virtual roadmap lead community. Lastly, another part of your job will be to establish financial estimates for our roadmaps and ensure alignment with our business goals and financial plans.
You can be based in Gothenburg, Stockholm or Lund and we offer a hybrid set-up.

What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with solid experience from a senior role within project management, business development, controlling or similar. We believe that you have:
* A deep understanding of the dynamics in a large IT organization and translating strategy into business goals and actions.
* Experience from digital transformation and agile ways of working.
* Experience of running business planning, roadmaps or controlling for a large IT organization.
* A good drive and target focus with a collaborative approach.
* An ability to create clarity out of complexity and ambiguity.

Furthermore, you have a great financial and business understanding. You are used to working with value flows across functions within a multi-national company. You are someone who enjoys interacting cross-functionally and in a multicultural environment.
