Business Technology drives digitalization at Fortum, enabling smart solutions for customers, improved asset and trading productivity, and new data driven business models. About the role
Digital Enablement is part of the Business Transformation services in Business Technology and aims to support our business divisions with digital competence development and agile transformation services to get most of the technology by inspiring, training, coaching and supporting employees to adopt agile ways of working and digital solutions to its full potential.
Digital competence development scope includes digital upskilling and reskilling to accelerate the digital adoption rate and digital employee experience. The agile transformation scope includes agile maturity assessment, coaching and training, capability building to support the implementation of agile way of working in the organization.
The Head of Digital Enablement will develop a digital enablement strategy and roadmap based on the collective business divisions mission-critical priorities and requirements related to digital competencies development, and through a careful diagnostic needs analysis approach that considers the broad landscape for both digital learning and agile ways of working.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead the design, development and execution of scalable digital enablement
• Define framework and roll out the digital competence maturity and agile maturity model in close collaboration with business units
• Implement an analytical approach to understanding needs, articulating desired learning objectives and outcomes, and selecting appropriate instructional modalities and content that is rooted in a business units’ priorities and operations
• Develop learning strategies, plans, and content to be delivered through various platforms based on needs assessments and requirements
• Manage a portfolio of existing digital learning solutions that addresses technology targeted learning and development needs:
• Manage the partnership with licensed content providers and determine the overall effectiveness of each offering.
• Identify, coordinate, and communicate programs that enhance the capabilities of employees through continued education and skills training
• Collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
• Ensure ongoing program impact measurement and evolution by:
• Gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback on existing program effectiveness and remaining needs
• Following up with internal stakeholders consistently and keeping core team informed of the progress
• Offering hands-on agile coaching and guidance to leaders as a recognized subject matter expert (SME)
• Implement the Agile Open Leadership concept to improve the organizational learning and process adoption of Agile via metrics, benefits realization, outcomes, and retrospective findings
• Lead, coach, and develop the Digital Enablement team (Agile coachers and training managers), providing day-to-day performance management of team members and ensuring effective team performance

What we are looking for
• Master’s degree in a relevant field or similiar
• At least eight years of curriculum design experience in a corporate setting
• Demonstrated success at developing curriculum paths based on a thorough needs analysis of business priorities and skill requirements
• Experience in digital transfomation and developing learning strategies and program from the ground up based on organizational and business priorities
• Familiarity with experiential learning, gamification and emerging trends in Learning & Development
• Familiar with Modern Agile and sufficient level of technical knowledge
• Experience coaching self-organizing teams and supporting them to reach their goals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, to be able to present and influence at all levels and build and develop strong trusting relationships.
