About the role
As Head of E-commerce, you will have a key role at Maria Nila with full responsibility and ownership to manage and develop their global digital landscape. You will grow sales and increase customer satisfaction by developing the next generation online experience.
The Head of E-commerce is responsible for building the e-commerce team, identifying business opportunities, managing E-commerce related projects, and establishing goals to ensure growth and operational excellence. The role reports directly to CEO Europe.
As Head of E-commerce, you will;
- Be strategically and operationally responsible for E-commerce
- Build and implement a digital long-term plan in line with the global commercial strategy
- Build and successfully lead, develop, and expand that team
- Work towards set sales budgets and key performance indicators per market
- Be responsible for budget and profitability
- Develop and integrate the digital infrastructure
- Create an outstanding and high-end customer shopping experience
- Create the next generation digital environment for hair salon professionals
- Plan, communicate, and execute content and promotions to achieve sales, marketing, and brand targets.
- Grow online business with digital marketing, search, e-mail marketing and other initiatives.
- Optimize omni presence through close collaboration with other sales and marketing functions
- Coordinate and set requirements against external agencies and consultants.
- Improve e-commerce shipping efficiency and lead times to perfect customer satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate supplier terms and the potential for new systems and better technology
About you
To be successful in this role we believe that you have managed to create the necessary scope within e-commerce together with a deep understanding of the entire digital business. You are positive, ambitious, and friendly with a high level of energy. You see yourself as a natural leader able to engage and motivate others with your hands-on attitude. You lead by example and take full ownership of your own results. Data is your friend, guiding your commercial and analytical mind-set. You thrive & shine in a sales, marketing, and entrepreneurial environment.
Background
- At least 3 years of operational and strategic experience within E-commerce
- Hands-on, result driven and structured. You want to work in a high-performance environment
- Strong communication- and stakeholder management skills, both internal and external
- Experience in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, Paid Social) and requirements for external agencies
- Have a strategic mindset with analytical skills and problem-solving mentality
- A basic understanding of e-commerce platforms, fundamental html, and ERP systems
- An understanding of integrations and data transfers between platforms and systems
- Experience with budgeting and reporting
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Management or similar
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and oral

Placement & start
This is a full-time position and located at the office in Stockholm.
Start will be according to agreement.
