Service Market Logistics is part of Group Trucks Operations. We are approximately 3,500 employees in over 40 locations globally and deliver world class operational excellence for our customers based on smart logistics solutions. Our job is to develop, manage and optimize the Service Market supply chain for all Volvo Group brands and Joint Ventures. The scope for Service Market Logistics includes Flow Optimization, Inventory Management, Distribution Center operations, Customs, Trade and Export Control as well as the development of logistics solutions to ensure highest possible parts availability, delivery precision and quality globally. In Customs, Trade & Export Control we deliver services enabling international trade from the classification of the product until the delivery of the product to the customer. The EMEA Master Data organization ensures that master data needed for customs clearance, trade compliance and export control are compliant, quality assured and readily available when needed in our processes and by our stakeholders.

We need to be excellent at networking and have a good understanding of E2E since we represent the function and the entire Customs, Trade and Export Control organization towards our stakeholders.


As Manager Customs Master Data EMEA, you will lead a team of 8 specialists in Sweden and France. Together with the Global Master data function and other regions we act as one team to deliver on our commitments. Our scope is finished products and spare parts for the entire Volvo Group.
In this position you report to Director Customs & Trade EMEA and are a member of the EMEA management team. You will also be a member in our Global Master data team to ensure global harmonization.

You will:
be responsible to secure compliance, quality and speed in customs Master Data EMEA
be part of setting the future direction for the area and drive development in strong collaboration with the other functional areas of our function
embrace our digitalization journey, securing that our Master data creates value for the Volvo Group
lead, coach and develop the team and coach colleagues in the Management team
secure that volume forecasts and capacity are frequently updated
be responsible for fulfilment of contracts with external customs brokers for classification

Who are you?
You have:
a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
a structured, analytical, business and holistic mindset
strong oral and written communication skills in English
experience from working with compliance, preferably customs, freetrade agreements, or export control, is a strong merit
experience in lean leadership including VPS tools and practice
